Abstract
-
This instalation is a multilayer exploration of an anthropomorphic idesliazion of a physical and mental space named “across”. More specifically, for the artist, is the spot on the edge of the Hydrian Harbor that looks at the pelloponiasian seashore two miles away.
However, it is also an investigation of a mental spaces of across that combines the longing for serenity and familiarity with an unknown, deepened by nightfall.

Artist Statement
-
The installation becomes a multilayered skin that the viewers gradually pill of upon their stay in the room.
The elements of the music, canvas, poems (in paper) and projection uncover a scenery of an across at night, that carries a nostalgia and calmness within it.
The space even though carries an undoubted familiarity with the artists, it also became a point of a mental transportation to other spaces, and acted as a person carrying an emotion filled corvarsation. The “across” elevated from a viewing point, to a small nature based deity, that could conversate with the artists not only in the specific point mentioned but in any other point that could reminded her of it. The recreation of it, in a enclosed invorement of an art room didn’t aim to inprision the across, but encapsulate the few seconds of unknown feelings that it had created.
