Abstract

"The Lenses of Our World" is a painting that depicts a not-so-distant future – a clash of imagination and reality – where the allure of a digital “heaven” paints over the physical world. My project uses biblical imagery of heaven and hell to question how devices like the Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses reshape our perception. Drawn in by the irresistible beauty of the AR world, I invite the audience to confront its corresponding reality: What will happen when digital perfection is more desirable than reality itself?
