Artists Room

Vagias, Nikos

Abstract

A bedroom can communicate a lot about a person; it is one of the most personal and private spaces someone can have, filled with things that relate to their hobbies, interests, personality, habits and much more. A room can very easily reflect its owner, and my painting is inspired by mine's current state. It has become an archive for all the artworks I have created throughout my life and, in the case of the painting, throughout all the years I have spent studying and practicing art. I wanted to depict myself through this art, and to communicate to the viewer its importance in the current stage of my life.
