Abstract
-
This paper argues that adaptive secularism is a flexible yet moral framework that goes beyond universal secular doctrines. This paradigm preserves democratic ideals of neutrality, freedom of conscience and equal protection while honoring various cultural and historical contexts when it comes to worldwide conflicts between repressive secularism and religious fundamentalism, Adaptive pluralist secularism reshapes the significance of national symbolism and identity while also permitting open religious expression without state favoritism. This proposed framework can decrease radicalization and avoid the exclusion and alienation of minorities by striking a balance between pluralism and fundamental ethical principles, guaranteeing that secularism remains as an inclusive base for harmonious coexistence.
