This project entails the design of a specialized Large Language Model (LLM) platform aimed to be ultimately used for enhancing satellite data management and decision-making processes in satellite communications. This project is a subset of the Deree R&D initiative, "SATELLITE NETWORK OF EXPERTS V," which aims to exploit the potential of LLM’s for revolutionizing the processing, interpretation, and capitalization of satellite data. The platform includes a user interface that is interactive in supporting the prompting, augmenting, and testing of the LLMs developed by the Deree R&D initiative. Furthermore, the platform uses a vector-based database to incorporate additional context enhancements to the fine-tuned models.
My project is an application to study and simulate the replication functions of common Retroviruses and viruses. It uses scientific data from popular scientific and biology databases like https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov such as viruse’s genomes and the scientific library of Biopython to simulate. It creates and presents the new RNA chain of the virus after the infection and the transcription process and its protein chain after the infection. It also showcases a pseudo-statistical analysis of the DNA mutation of the infected organism by taking into account the real-life mutation ratio of the specific virus. Whilst, this program is just a demo and with not much scientific evidence, I believe that with the correct scientific direction and experience of Dr. Valahas it could be something valuable in the future.
The work is a website that aims to help people in finding groceries from Greek supermarkets at the cheapest price possible using tools such as user-based recommendations shown. By aggregating the products of the more popular supermarkets in Greece the final aim is to allow users to create a list of products that suit their monetary needs and their preferences towards grocery shopping.
FlavorBlueprints is a social platform focused on sharing food recipes. Users can create an account and upload their own recipes along with a description and photos of the finished dish. They can also discover new recipes made by other users, leave ratings, and more.
