This project explores the interplay of photography, poetry and emotions, focusing on how multiple art forms influence human perception and feelings. By combining black-and-white as well as vibrant photos with poems about pain and inner strength, it investigates how people connect with art and how it affects their mental state. Participants answered a questionnaire on mental health and engaged with images from Athens, choosing between vibrant and monochromatic collages. The goal was to understand the psychological impact of art and photography and inspire reflection on shared human experiences, ultimately highlighting the power of art to evoke empathy and introspection
Young artists rely on commissions to build their CVs and generate income. However, the existing social media platforms for selling artwork have significant challenges, including unfair algorithms, payment issues and lack control. These problems create an unsafe commission process that is unreliable for both artists and buyers. The concept website Technes provides solutions to these problems. Technes removes like-based popularity systems to ensure fair exposure. Artist bios are kept minimal and optional, listing only basic information to reduce bias. Artists have full control over their work arrangement, pricing, and commission availability. Transactions occur in a secure chat-based system that synchronizes payment with artwork delivery.
The Vlepsis app is a digital-first solution seeking to bridge the communication gap
and increase transparency in the developing process. The platform provides real-
time project tracking, milestone notifications, visual updates, direct messaging
between buyers and developers and on-demand on-site meetings with the
developers. We are aiming for a centralized document management system,
integrated with structured updates to ensure buyers of unfinished assets will
remain informed throughout the construction process.
The app’s aims are to increase trust in the real estate market, make off-plan
investments, a common occurrence in Greece, a safer option and ultimately,
uphold the industry to higher standards.
This project employs Design Thinking and Innovation Management principles to address the challenges faced by neurodivergent students within the Greek secondary education system; ICANOI, a digitized non-profit organization, aims to improve the educational experiences of neurodivergent students through advocacy, research, and community awareness. Overall, this project aims to demonstrate how Design Thinking, commonly used developing profitable products, can be effectively applied in social contexts to improve the lives of marginalized groups.
We molded a modern version of Plato’s allegory of the cave out of clay. The sculpture demonstrates that each person’s brain represents a cave that they ought to escape from in order to find the truth and not rely on misinformation. The sculpture shows a classroom, whereas the wooden hand that is outside of the brain represents the main fields that influence one’s character: education, religion and politics. Strings hanging from the hand represent different types of information passed on the students and are colored blue (liberal) and red (conservative) to focus on the political scene in the United States.
“Fed Up” is a collage on a canvas that explores how food, body image, and emotions are connected, especially under the pressure of social media and beauty standards. The messy, layered look of the artwork reflects the inner chaos many people feel when dealing with eating, self-worth, and how they’re seen by others. Inspired by psychological theories, the piece shows how we can feel torn between who we are and who we think we should be. It is personal, emotional, and it is meant to make viewers think about how society shapes the way we see our bodies, our choices, and our value.

Our project is a photo mosaic depicting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through pictures. We wanted to showcase not only the individual goals but also the fact that all of the goals are interconnected and are the path that will lead us to a better future. Additionally, we also wanted students to be able to find more information and raise awareness about sustainability and climate change, which is why we added on each image, specific links to environmental speeches, articles, academic journals, and websites.
A collage of black and white photos depicting portraits of women who managed to break the glass ceiling throughout the decades, accompanied by an explanatory PowerPoint presentation with regards to the concept of glass ceiling.
QR code at the bottom of each photo with a brief story of each woman’s experience in their professional career.
Contemporary works or outlets of political satire, are mainly represented by late night TV shows such as “The Colbert Report” rather than a magazine or newspaper. We wanted to bring back to life influential pieces of political satire such as “A Modest Proposal” or “The Animal Farm” and use them as sources of inspiration to critique the state of global politics today. Satire has the functional capacity to illuminate aspects of social reality that are otherwise unnoticed, and this is what we wanted to achieve with this project. Showcase the absurdity that sometimes characterizes the state of global politics.
